Wylie Elementary students wondered about the Huron River Watershed. We came up with these questions: How can you tell if a river’s watershed is healthy? How healthy is the Huron River? What are ways that we can help the community keep the Huron River and Watershed healthy? Students visited the river and used maps, websites, and a stream table to investigate and decide what part of the Huron River Rivershed is the healthiest and why. Collaborative groups researched the 5 different areas of the Huron River and presented their findings with posters, infographics, slides, and more.
