Sangheethaa’s Eco-Project
Throughout the whole year, we made observations of our field site and how it changed as the year went on. We also learned a lot of concepts relating to what might have caused these changes. This site helps to sum up all of our knowledge on this topic.
Marcus’s Eco-Project
Hi, I’m Marcus Gharbieh. This project is about the time I spent with my field site. I’m going to go over what I learned, show some pictures, create models, explain how my site can relate to climate change, and at the end a big reflection.
Liviana’s Eco-Project
Liviana Capatina is a 9th grader at WTMC, she’s currently taking Ms. TR’s 9th-grade science class, and loving it! This year in science class Liviana has been doing field note observations in her garden. She has made this website to share everything she has learned with you. She hopes you enjoy reading her website and maybe even learn something.
Kasydy’s Eco-Project
My name is Kasydy and I’m a 9th grade science student. Throughout both the fall and winter semester, I have spent time learning about and observing an eco-site of my choice nearly every week. I chose the beginning of the walking trail behind my house, and have been able to make close observations and learn about patterns and things I never noticed about the nature that’s been there my whole life. I’m using this platform to not only share my observations and connections I’ve made between my eco-site and the science material, but also to share how this experienced has affected me as an individual and broadened my perspective.
The Eco-Project: A Yearlong Study of a Field Site
Students completed the “Eco-Project” at a field site near their home; there, they made observations, journal entries, sketches, and reflections. These are their final websites summarizing the experience.

Learning From and Preserving Community Stories
The Gray Wolves learned the importance of stories and methods by which to keep these stories alive for future generations. We invited community members with personal connections to Grace Lee Boggs to share stories with us so that we could learn more about the people for which our school was named and begin to better understand our place within the school.
