This is a drawing from a student inspired by how they connected to nature during a fieldtrip to test the water at the Detroit River, and Bloody Run Creek this school year. Enjoy!

WOW good job
I can feel the anger coming through in your picture. It is a shame that trash ends up on our earth, especially when it is so close to a waterway like the Detroit River. I wonder if you had any suggestions to prevent litter in this area?
I like that the cigarette is still relatively small in your illustration, even though it certainly draws your attention. All of the grass makes me imagine the grass growing right up through the cigarette, starting its decomposition until there is no trace left.
This art is powerful! I completely understand feeling mad/sad when seeing litter, but art like this has the power to remind people why littering is never worth it. Very well drawn!
