Storm Drains, Salmon, Sturgeon and Indigenous Ways of Knowing… In this learning experience, students followed the path of rainwater from storm drains to streams and larger waterways that support salmon and sturgeon. Students analyzed water quality data and explored how pollution and runoff affect fish habitats. Indigenous teachings guided students to think about reciprocity, responsibility, and caring for water and fish as living relatives within an interconnected system.
