Grow in the Grove!

by SEMIS Coalition | Jun 4, 2026 | Community Forum 2026 | 0 comments

Slide introducing Growing With The Grove. The School at Marygrove. Text below that says “Growing our community one fruit at a time." There is an animated fruit basket on the bottom left.

Students researched and explored the role of food insecurity in our school community and throughout the city of Detroit. We identified opportunities to collaborate with our student groups and community partners to identify small, but meaningful action steps to reconnect students with healthy and accessible food.
