Urban Agriculture and Food Sovereignty: Examining our MI Roots
June 25-27, 2012 – 8:00 AM – 3 PM
June 28, 2012 – 8:00 AM – 1 PM
Our previous institutes have been extremely successful and this year we will be using a similar mix of direct experience and community immersion, modeling by expert place-based and EcoJustice educators, exploration of a set of essential questions using EcoJustice readings and concepts, and curriculum planning in our teams and across schools. This year’s focus is on Urban Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.
(additional Hooks readings if you downloaded reading mateiral prior to 6/20/12)
